I love hiking!
Hey, It’s Claire, Amy’s oldest daughter. I was wondering if I could have the password to this blog and your old blog. I can’t wait to see you guys again! We had a blast with you guys a couple weeks ago1 Love ya! ~Claire
I just put together a post with tips for hiking with kids and some photos of our recent hike/walk. Tips may not be for the long, overnight hikes, but more of the afternoon type.

We live in Middle TN and I’m glad to have this list of your recommended trails. I don’t see Fall Creek Falls mentioned. Do you know if it is kid friendly?
Hi there! We have been to Fall Creek Falls often, I’m not sure why I haven’t ever posted about it before
It is a great place to hike and we enjoy visiting during the summer when it is warm enough to splash around at the falls. There are many cliffs and drop-offs, so while it is an awesome place to hike, it’s also a place where you want to have young kiddos in a backpack and older children closely monitored. They also have a little nature center and a lake that you can canoe. Hope that helps!
It does help. The cliffs are what I was wondering about. Thanks!
Hi! Great blog and trails. There are some beautiful routes and photos – love the waterfall pics! Inspiring stuff.
I am starting out with something similar in the UK – if you’re ever hiking over here and needs some recommends then let me know!
